Aubrey Peeples
Aubrey Peeples has been an American actor and singer for over 20 years. She has won numerous awards for her roles as Layla Grant and Claudia Shepard and Claudia Shepard as Claudia Shepard and Layla Grant in Nashville (2012). In addition, she played the leading character Jerrica Jem Benton, in the feature film Jem and the Holograms (2015). Aubrey Peeples, the child of Wendy Peeples and Ashley Peeples, grew up in Lake Mary Florida. Her older sister is Ally. Aubrey was an actor with Orlando Repertory Theatre during her early years. Aubrey graduated from Lake Mary Preparatory School, where she delivered the valedictory speech of the 2012 class. Harvard University had accepted her. But, they had to agree to her admission two times so that she could play the part in Nashville. Peeples appeared as a character in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011, Grey's Anatomy (2005) as well as Grey's Anatomy (2005). Also, she had a regular part in Necessary Rustness (1991). The actress was also in two television-based movies: Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009 and The Good Mother). The latter was her most prominent role as Layla Grant on the Nashville Drama series in its second season. Peeples spoke about her bipolar disorder during an interview with NKD Magazine. Indiewire placed Peeples in the top spot on their list of the top actors younger than twenty in September of 2014.
